Group 1) WHY SHEPHERD THERMOFORMING

1) Better Design: Full CAD capabilities, in house tooling, in house prototyping center.
2) Experience with Specialty Materials including coextruded material, flock material, metalic finishes, wood finishes, medical grade materials, and anti-static materials.
3) Higher end assembly capabilities for returnables and disposable products.4) Sustainable Packaging options including Reusable Packaging, Recycled Materials, and Biodegradable Plastics.
5) Expertise in Electronics Packaging and materials. Anti-static, and conductive options available.
For use in Clamshells, Trays, or Blisters.
6) Complete Thermoforming Capabilities: High Speed In-line equipment for thin gauge, Rotary equipment for heavy gauge, and Single Station equipment for lower volume applications.
1) 20 years of experience designing molded pulp packaging with full CAD capabilities and several prototype options.
2) Molded Pulp Type II - Transfer Molded. Type II is thin walled approximately 1/16" thick, grey in color, and lowest cost.
3) Secondary operations are available which include kitting, boxing, or off line assembly.
4) Pulp packaging is a Sustainable Packaging option. Parts are made from recycled newspapers and other recycled fiber sources. Molded parts are 100% biodegradable, Green dot compliant, and conforms to ISO 14000 Standards.
5) Outstanding protective qualities with molded pulp packaging. Often used for glass products and other parts susceptible to breakage.

6) Engineering capabilities include the use of our proprietary FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, Enviropak has the capabiliity to simulate drop test performance. The software allows detailed visualization of where structures twist and stress points. FEA allows for designs to be refined prior to prototyping or building production tooling.
7) NOTE: File formats accepted include IGES, Step, Solidworks, DXF, and DWG.
